If you are reading this, you appear to have found my brand new, shiny blog.
Let me start by telling you a little bit about myself:
My name is Kirsten Mhairi McCann, I am 20 years of age, am a recent graduate of the University of Strathclyde with a degree in English Studies, am engaged and live in Glasgow.
I have just recently been made redundant, and whilst on the job-hunt I spend my time reading, sewing and playing with my puppy. As you may have guessed from the title of my blog, the majority of the time it is reading.
I have a wonderful fiancé called Elliot and little Staffy pup named Ezio. We live very harmoniously as if it were the 1940s; an era where we feel we were destined to live in: heaven knows how we ended up here!
My love of literature stretches out as far back as I can remember, and my reading proficiency has always been well above my age.
In this blog I aim to take my readers through the depths of my library, writing about all my books (good and bad!) and exploring where I seek to go next in my quest for great literature. I suppose it will read like a ‘book club’ whereby I have a member of one- me. 🙂
I hope you enjoy reading about my experiences with different literature and I welcome any advice on novels or authors which you may think I would enjoy.
Happy reading everyone! xx
